PolicyNet maintenance occurs every Wednesday night, from 19:00 to 24:00 EST.
Our regularly scheduled maintenance will now take place every Wednesday for approximately 2 hours between the hours of 19:00 and 24:00 EST. During this maintenance period, you and your users will experience temporary service interruptions indicated by a ‘Scheduled Maintenance’ notification when attempting to access PolicyNet or the broader network. This change is made to accommodate the growing number of members in different time zones.
To this end, our Development Team is working hard on needed improvements:
- scalability: to ensure our systems will meet the demand of increasing user loads while maintaining quick page load times and search results
- stability: to ensure implementation of system upgrades with minimal or zero downtime
- manageability: to ensure system monitoring and communication that immediately report errors and allow us to respond appropriately
As we proceed with these incremental, regular changes of the next few months, you and your users may experience unexpected service interruptions for brief moments. We will be sure to inform you of any additional, planned service outage.
